Greg put together this beautiful summary of Y-Combinator’s Summer 2025 request for Startup’s.

This is basically YC’s way of saying “we want to invest in companies that are building these things”.

Doesn’t get much more clear than that.

The one I’m most excited about is 14.

Empowering non-AI jobs like plumbers, HVAC tech’s, tree trimmers, landscapers, etc.

These aren’t the ‘sexy’ places to build for, but they’re some of the most valuable.

2. Nuts on Ice shorts

Alright… hear me out.

I know this sounds crazy, but I agree this would actually work.

There’s a ton of hype around using Sauna’s for health reasons. But on the downside, the increased temp in testicles has shown to decrease sperm count.

And that’s something to get scared about.

So how can you counter act it? Ice your nuts when you’re in the sauna.

And you can sell the ‘fear’ around losing sperm count if you don’t use these.
